Derasat Signs Agreement With King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies

Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) signed an agreement on academic and research cooperation with King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies. It was concluded by DERASAT’s Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Secretary General of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies Dr. Saud bin Saleh Al-Sarhan.

The agreement aims to boost cooperation in academic research, holding functions and exchanging information. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah praised the pioneering role of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies in promoting scientific research which has boosted its international standing in this respect. He also stressed DERASAT’s efforts to launch quantum initiatives to achieve set up goals by conducting strategic studies, including evaluating developments which have an impact on Bahrain and the Gulf region. He also added that the agreement is part of a series of agreements signed with research and studies centres and the civil society institutions in Bahrain and beyond.
