Derasat: A field study to benefit from best practices derived from experiences of member states of (OECD)

The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) plans to embark on an extensive field study to benefit from exceptional economic expertise, and best practices derived from experiences of member states of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This effort will involve interviewing a number of Bahrainis who are currently working, or have previously worked, in some of these countries, with the aim of utilizing their opinions to enrich developmental decisions in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Interviews are scheduled to commence during the current month of August, during which Derasat will invite candidates willing to participate, to register through the following link:

After which a member of the Derasat Team will reach out to the candidates to set up an appointment for a phone or online video interview.

Derasat Center aspires – through this field study – to benefit from your experiences as a qualitative addition to this research, and thus appealing to your proactive spirit in registering, should you meet the following conditions:

  • Bahraini national.
  • Professional expert in economics.
  • Worked for a year or more in an OECD member state.
  • Accepts a personal interview not exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Personal and intellectual data are subject to safety and security guarantees.
