Derasat participates in Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate

Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa participated in the seventh Abu Dhabi Strategic Debate titled, ‘“Deciphering the Hyper-Real: The New World Order” which was held over 3 days from November 9 – 11, 2020″. In the Tuesday 10th session titled, ‘U.A.E – Israel Treaty: The New Middle East – The Gulf: Recalculations’, Dr. Abdulla Al Khalifa noted that the geopolitical map of the distribution of power in the Middle East region has changed in the last decade, due to instability, internal conflicts, insecurity and economic stagnation in many Countries, and the moderate Gulf states have emerged to lead the region towards stability and prosperity, through their pioneering role in combating terrorism, and adopting visions of reform, modernization and technological progress, as well as moving forward in the approach of understanding and peace. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees stated that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s decision to sign the Declaration in Support of Peace with the State of Israel is a sovereign decision to protect the supreme national interests without compromising the constants and priorities, and that the Kingdom will spare no efforts in pushing the peace process forward, leading to a just and comprehensive peace, within the framework of continuing Bahrain’s efforts on this path, which included: Hosting the Peace to Prosperity workshop, last year…….
