Alabbasi obtained a BSc in Electrical Engineering from King Fahad University, Dharan, Saudi Arabia and an M.Sc in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Surrey, UK, where he is currently undertaking his PhD in Renewable Energy. Abdulla is a charted engineer with experience in power networks and is a published researcher.
