A recent workshop held by the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington (AGSIW) focused on Gulf-US relations. Dr. Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Derasat Chairman, warned of the dangers of a potential international system failure due to current international policies that lack justice and consistency, pointing out ongoing conflicts. He underscored the need for a rapid restoration of the regional system through concerted international efforts to support coexistence and for the need to deal firmly with supporting and funding terrorism.
