Derasat and the Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy at the IDC Herzliya in Israel have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for research and scientific cooperation.

On Sunday, August 8, 2021, Derasat with the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs in the State of Israel signed a memorandum of understanding at the Jerusalem Center in Tel Aviv.

The fourth Derasat forum dedicated its second day to discuss "Food Security: Gulf and Regional Experiences", with the participation of a number of officials and specialists who highlighted food security as their countries experimented with this challenge.

The fourth Derasat forum to commence online on Monday, June 21st 2021, under the title of "Strategies to Attain Food Security: Challenges and Opportunities".

Derasat announced that its fourth annual Derasat Forum for this year is titled, “Food Security Fulfilment Strategies: Challenges and Opportunities”, will be held from 21 to 23 June 2021 by videoconference.

In line with Kuwait’s imminent national day celebrations and its thirtieth liberation anniversary, Derasat published a book titled, “An Epic of Sacrifice in a Brothers’ Ordeal: The Role of the Kingdom of Bahrain Toward the Events of Kuwait’s Invasion and Liberation (August 1990 – February 1991)".

Derasat achieved an advanced placement on the 2020 Global Go-To Think Tank Index, among more than 6500 organizations ranked annually by the University of Pennsylvania’s Think-Tank and Civil Societies Program.
