Round table: ‘The Roots of Conflict and the Road to Stabilization’

In a Round table discussion on ‘The Roots of Conflict and the Road to Stabilization’, Dr. Denise Natali, Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) at the US State Department, briefed participants on the aims and work of the Bureau, noting the focus being placed on understanding the root causes of extremism in order to better target policy towards building community resilience and on the importance of locally driven solutions and collaborative partnerships.
