The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) participated in a roundtable held as part of a series of discussions hosted by the Euro-Gulf Information Centre (EGIC) under the EGIC-AJAR platform, titled “How Long Until the UK Gets Involved? Evaluating the British Strategy in the Gulf,” which took place online, alongside a group of international experts discussing the evolving implications of the U.S., Israel, Iran war for Arabian Gulf security.

Derasat was represented in these discussions by Associate Analyst Ms. Mona AlResais, who highlighted during the discussion the official position of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which condemns the Iranian attacks as violations of international law and stresses the importance of collective Gulf security alongside restraint and de-escalation to preserve regional stability. She also emphasized that the current crisis demonstrates how the Kingdom of Bahrain has strengthened its ability to deter attacks by developing effective defense capabilities and enhancing regional and international cooperation to address the evolving security challenges in the Gulf region.
