Mr. Abdulla Mohamed Alahmed, CEO of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), received His Excellency Mr. Jean-Philippe Linteau, Ambassador of Canada to the Kingdom of Bahrain. The two sides discussed ways to strengthen engagement in research and intellectual affairs, as well as opportunities to foster closer ties between think tanks and research institutions in Bahrain and Canada, with a view to promoting the exchange of expertise and knowledge on issues of mutual interest. The Canadian Ambassador expressed his appreciation for Derasat’s role in advancing dialogue and knowledge exchange on strategic issues. Derasat CEO stressed the importance of strengthening research ties with Canadian institutions and drawing on their expertise in strategic studies, economics, energy, and global transformations.
