The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat) organized an intellectual dialogue titled “The Kingdom of Bahrain’s Experience in the UN Security Council: Between the Recent Past and the Near Future.”
The event featured the participation of Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a member of the Center’s Board of Trustees, and retired Ambassador Tawfeeq Ahmed Al Mansoor, former Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, former Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and former member of the Center’s Board of Trustees.
The dialogue was attended by prominent figures from the military, diplomatic, and academic sectors.
