Dr. Abdullah Nasser AlBuflaseh

Dr. Abdullah Nasser AlBuflaseh works at the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Bahrain and holds the position of Acting Head of the External Administrations Section in the Legal Affairs Directorate. Throughout his professional career, he has undertaken a number of roles in both the legal and security fields, including work in the Internal Audit and Investigations Directorate, where he served as Supervisor of the Awareness and Follow-up Section and as an Investigating Officer. He also worked in the Legal Affairs Directorate as Supervisor of the Consultations and Research Section and contributed to the establishment and leadership of the Legal Awareness Team.
He is an accredited trainer and lecturer at the Royal Academy of Police Bahrain and has participated as a speaker in several conferences and scientific forums in the fields of security sciences, law, and human rights. He has also represented the Ministry of Interior in a number of television and radio interviews. As part of his judicial career, he was appointed as a judge in the Police Courts.
Through his work in Legal Affairs, he has contributed to the preparation, drafting, and review of legislation and regulatory frameworks related to security work. He previously worked at the Southern Governorate Police Directorate in the areas of investigation and inquiry, community policing, and quality and internal audit.
On the academic side, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Criminal Law and as Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council for the Master’s Program in Law at the University of Applied Sciences. He has completed numerous specialized training courses in law, security sciences, and human rights, publishes articles, and is currently engaged in preparing studies and research in the fields of security, law, and human rights.
