Tasneem Abdullah Issa, a researcher at the Derasat Center representing the Studies and Research Department, participated in the Forum of Political Parties and Think Tanks organized by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The forum took place in Urumqi, located in the Xinjiang region of the People’s Republic of China, and brought together over 200 representatives from more than 60 institutions, including SCO member states, observer states, and dialogue partners.
During her participation, Ms. Tasneem delivered a thoughtful contribution as part of a panel discussion titled “Promoting Exchange and Mutual Learning Between Civilizations and Joint Work for Modernization.” In her remarks, she highlighted the importance of civilizational dialogue as a key pillar in forging pathways toward inclusive and sustainable development.
