Tasneem Abdulla Isa is a researcher in the Strategic Studies and International Relations Program at (Derasat). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a concentration in International Security and Diplomacy, and a minor in Policy, Planning, and Development from Qatar University, graduating with academic distinction in 2021.
Her research interests focus on regional security, maritime security, cybersecurity, and strategic alliances and partnerships relevant to Bahrain’s national security. Motivated by her belief in volunteerism as a catalyst for research capacity-building and youth development, she served as a research mentor in the National Leadership Program “HiPo,” leading research teams and enhancing their skills in analysis and report preparation. She further launched the “Bahraini Youth Empowerment Lab” under Youth City 2030 to drive innovation and strengthen community participation.
Through her academic and professional journey, Tasneem aspires to contribute to the development of public policy frameworks, advance research innovation, and support sustainable development pathways in line with Bahrain’s forward-looking vision.
