Ali Faqeeh is an analyst at Bahrain Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies (Derasat). His area of study focuses on global food security, with a particular emphasis on entrepreneurship, waste management, agricultural technology, and strategy. He has also written a number of articles on entrepreneurship and energy in the Gulf area. He joined Derasat after several years of experience in both the private and public sectors. He has a bachelor’s degree in law from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and an MSc in Entrepreneurial Economics and Management from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Germany.
