Ali Faqeeh is an analyst in Derasat and a non-resident fellow at the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C., United States. His area of research is focused on entrepreneurship, with a specific emphasis on Gulf economies. In the field of entrepreneurship research, Faqeeh has authored a number of publications concerning energy, food security, artificial intelligence, business environment, and sectoral development, and he regularly provides journalistic pieces to media outlets. He has a law degree from Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and a master’s degree in entrepreneurial economics and management from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Germany.
