Derasat’s Surveys & Opinion Polls Directorate has announced a new survey that will map the pros and cons of video games and their effects on children, adolescents and youth. The study will survey a large segment of individuals aged between 10 and 18 years to identify and record practices and patterns in playing video games.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies, “Derasat”, will celebrate its tenth anniversary on December 14th, held under the theme “from vision to reality”.
A regional consultation workshop was held in Manama, Bahrain on 20 November 2019 to discuss and validate the first draft of the 2nd State of Arab Cities report, aiming to identify the most persistent challenges facing Arab cities with regards to financing urban infrastructure, and propose policy recommendations and effective responses to address these challenges.
