The book titled “Shaikh Hamad bin Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ruler of Bahrain 1932-1942 News and Press Coverage”, by the late researcher Saqr bin Abdullah Al-Maawda constitutes a qualitative effort in portraying the achievements of the late His Majesty Sheikh Hamad bin Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, by analyzing the content of what was published by the local and foreign press about his rule in that era.

The book sheds light on several main themes related to the subject and its time period, including a brief overview of the political development of the Bahraini-British relationship starting from 1816, the view of British politicians on the work and contributions of the British adviser to the Government of Bahrain, Sir Charles Belgrave…

The book focuses on the most prominent maritime security threats to the Arab Gulf states and includes four chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept and dimensions of maritime security while determining the legal status of the Straits of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandab and provides a historical analytical overview of the tanker war that took place in the Arabian Gulf region during the Iran-Iraq war in the eighties of the last century.

The book includes four chapters. The first chapter deals with the analysis of the emergence of NATO in 1949, and the nature of that alliance through the analysis of its structure and the evolution of its roles, while the second chapter deals with the content of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative in 2004, which includes six areas of security and defense cooperation between NATO and four countries from the Arabian Gulf, including the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence in the United Arab Emirates, the book “Bahrain-Emirati Strategic Partnership .. Legacy of the Past .. Challenges of the Future .. Future Opportunities” was launched.

Derasat launched “First Vision Salman” book under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust.

Derasat’s recent book focuses on the official and civil efforts of Bahrain in response to the invasion and liberation of Kuwait in 1991 and the Kingdom’s role to maintaining Arab Gulf stability.
