Derasat Think Tank Launches Website

The Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (DERASAT) has today launched its electronic website. The portal inaugural ceremony was held at DERASAT headquarters in Awali in the presence of media figures, journalists and the think tank staff. 
Addressing the opening ceremony, DERASAT board of trustees’ Chairman Major-General Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Fadhala paid tribute to the wise leadership for supporting the think tank so that it could achieve its foundation goals. He stressed the importance of upgrading DERASAT portal by incorporation modern digital technology to disseminate scientific culture, raise awareness and reach out to think tanks. He extended thanks to the technical team which designed the new-look portal, stressing plans to step up cooperation with GCC and Arab think tanks. 
He cited in this regard his recent meeting with The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) Board of Trustees’ Chairman, Director-General Dr. Jamal bin Sanad Al-Suweidi on expanding cooperation between the two think tanks. In the statement to (BNA), Al-Fadhala welcomed outstanding and competent researchers to cooperate with DERASAT, saying that doors are open for them.
