HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, received at his office at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Center for Strategic and International Studies and Energy Studies.
At the outset, His Highness Sheikh Mansour praised the brotherly relations between the two countries, and in highlighting the importance both leaderships’ place on developing relations in reaching wider horizons through cooperation in various fields, HH praised the Kingdom of Bahrain’s development renaissance during the reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, may God protect him.
Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa expressed great pride in the deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which are progressing and solidifying in all fields to serve the common interests and goals and meet the aspirations of the two brotherly societies. Sheikh Abdulla also highlighted and praised the UAE’s achievements in all fields and the extraordinary successes led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President.
He added that the distinguished relations between the two countries constitute a unique model of affinity, cooperation and brotherhood which leads to more prosperity and constitutes one of the main pillars in which help face challenges in the region.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees referred to the continuous coordination and fruitful partnership between Bahrain’s Center for Strategic, International, and Energy Studies and its counterparts in the UAE which serve in developing the bilateral relations and opening new channels of cooperation.
HH Sheikh Mansour was briefed on the most important activities and research programs carried out by the Center Derasat in support of scientific research, enhancing stability and sustainable development and its role in spreading the concept of peace and moderation. As well as Derasat’s keen efforts to monitor, analyze and forecast developments on both regional and international fronts.
