Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa represented the Bahrain Strategic, International and Energy Studies Centre (DERASAT) and Professor Mohamed Benhamou represented the Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies in the signing ceremony of a research and scientific cooperation agreement.
The agreement stipulates boosting cooperation in the areas of scientific researches, holding various events and activities, in addition to exchanging information and publications.
DERASAT Chairman said the agreement interprets mutual keenness to bolster research and scientific cooperation, it also enhances coordination of efforts among Arab research and intellectual institutions. He pointed out the recognized efforts of the Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies at the continental and international level. He added the agreement is within DERASAT’s policy to expand cooperation with its counterpart institutions and civil society organisations, locally and internationally, to improve performance, outputs and capacity building. Professor Benhamou expressed delight in signing the agreement, praising DERASAT’s efforts in the research and administrative field, which precisely translate the concept of community partnership.
