On the 21st of December 2021, as part of the Derasat-UNDP Bahrain Covid-19 socioeconomic impact assessment, Derasat and UNDP Bahrain convened group of some of the most respectable dentists and oral health experts in the Kingdom of Bahrain to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on oral health and dentistry, and what the post-pandemic resilience looks like for the orthodontist industry in Bahrain. This report is co-authored by Rawana AlDajani and David Verhagen, and highlights the major issues discussed during the roundtable and presents a series of recommendations targeting dentistry and policymakers.
