Opinion Poll: Residential and commercial property rentals

Derasat conducted an opinion poll on rent prices of Bahrain’s residential and commercial properties, aiming to identify tenant opinions on the amounts they pay, as well as how reasonable they are perceived.

The study is based on results of an opinion poll regarding rental prices for residential and commercial properties in Bahrain. The results revealed that 62% deemed rent prices as irrational, while 75% mentioned they haven’t noticed an increase in their monthly rent. 43% said they were subjected to an increase between 1 and 10%. Residential apartments comprised 70% of the types of rented property units. 83% of the surveyed sample pointed out that their rent didn’t include the cost of electricity and water consumption.
