Fatima Alsebaie, Ph.D. is a Research Fellow with the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat). Her research interests fall into two broad categories: Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and IT Issues in the GCC Region; and Women in the IT Field. Her analyses have appeared in a number of news outlets, with an analysis on women in the IT field published in a peer-reviewed journal. She has contributed to reviewing a research paper for the Information Technology & People Journal and has contributed to writing and editing chapters for a number of books related to women in Bahrain. In addition, she is often invited as a speaker and panellist to seminars on AI, Blockchain and Women & Technology.
