Maritime Security: The Concept.. Threats.. Strategies (1)

Although the seas are one of the components of the boundaries of states over which sovereignty is exercised under the regulations of international law, maritime security is not so easy given the nature of the seas themselves as open yards that are difficult to control such as land, as well as the influence of the geographical nature of States on their security. The fact that maritime states are caught in areas of chronic crisis clarifies that threats to regional security are intensified.
