The Middle East and the Determinants of French Foreign Policy

As part of the Derasat Center’s ongoing “Think Talks” series, the center hosted Prof. Frédéric Charillon, Professor of Political Science and International Relations at the Université Paris Cité, Clermont Auvergne University, and the ESSEC Business School on March 2, 2023. The lecture was titled “The Middle East and Determinants of French Foreign Policy”. The session was attended by H.E. Mr. Jérôme Cauchard, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Hamad Ebrahim Al-Abdulla, Executive Director of Derasat, political science experts from several institutions and Derasat partners were other notable participants of the event. Director of the center’s Research and Studies Directorate, Dr. Omar Ahmed Al-Ubaydli, moderated the discussion.
