Derasat Launches the last Publication of the late Researcher Saqr bin Abdullah Al-Maawda

On Thursday, March 16, 2023, the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) held a book launch event for the publication, “Shaikh Hamad bin Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ruler of Bahrain 1932-1942 News and Press Coverage”, by the late researcher Saqr bin Abdullah Al-Maawda, the book constitutes a qualitative effort in portraying the achievements of the late His Majesty Sheikh Hamad bin Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, by analyzing the content of what was published by the local and foreign press about his rule in that era. Depicted through press coverage of projects during that time and the establishment of historical events in the development of modern Bahrain. It also highlighted aspects of good governance during his reign, in which he laid the foundations for modernization in all fields, especially what guided his leadership from Britain’s administrative experiences at the time and his investment in the old and distinguished friendship relations between the two countries.
